Dr. Said was born in Nazareth and grew in the hills of Galilee, Israel. At the age of 18, he left his country to further his education in the United Kingdom and the USA. He lived in the UK for 23 years where he worked as a pastor and an educator in higher education. He holds five degrees in Computer Science and Theology and in January 2019 he will graduate with his second doctorate.  He has eight Microsoft certifications and speaks three languages.

An Israeli Baptist pastor and educator, encouraging creative teamwork, staff development and retention in higher education reflecting Christian educational leadership in a changing world.  Proven capability in: managing diverse teams, analyzing risk, solving problems, implementing strategic plans with tactical solutions to impact our community and the world.  Practical experience in instructing, curriculum/degree development, and managing higher education courses and departments. 

Dr. Said joined Volunteer State Community College in 2011 as an Assistant Professor in the Business and Technology division with a new degree in Computer Information Technology with five concentration. Dr. Said teaches theological studies at Union University since 2014.  Dr. Said is Married to his Texas wife Connie Said and has five children.
